2019-20 Accountability Implications Based on April 2020 USDOE Waivers and Changes to Commissioner’s Regulations §100.21 to Address the COVID-19 Crisis
This memo is to inform you that on Monday, April 6, 2020, the Board of Regents and the New app app Education Department (app or “the Department”) made the decision to modify the accountability rules for schools and districts based on a one-year waiver app received from the United apps Department of Education (USDE) from certain requirements under the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
